Attorney Salang holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.  He spent two of three years in law school driving every weekend back and forth from Washington, D.C. area to Michigan.  He did this while he worked a full time job.  He also has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from George Mason University.  He speaks Tagalog, Spanish, and a little French.  Translation services are available.  He also is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Manuel took his wife, Jesusa, and family of three young children with only seven suit cases of clothes to America.  All he had was a dream and a prayer.  With the help of family and friends he was able to send all his children to college.  Like many first generation Americans, he felt the sting of prejudice and the pains of adjustment.  He took any honest job he could to provide for his family.  Despite all of the hardships, Manuel retained his Philippine bar membership.

Jesusa worked for a Washington, D.C. law firm for nearly ten years.  She worked for private sector, non-profit, and government offices in the D.C. area.   She supports her husband and son in their law firm.  She has managed law office work and protects client files with the highest professionalism.  She holds a Bachelors degree in Economics.
